Admission Policy

Oasis Clinical Services offers same day admissions. We also maintain an open admission policy, and one that prohibits discrimination of any kind. Clients may visit Oasis on their own, or be referred to the clinic by a third party - either a doctor, friend or family member, an agency, or another substance abuse program. Programs offered by Oasis are usually approved and covered by most insurance carriers either on a full or partial basis. Other payment arrangements will be evaluated by the Administrator, and may be made on a case by case basis.

Medication Management

This group is facilitated by our staff psychiatrist. All medication questions, refills, or reactions to medications are discussed in full. Pharmacology of drugs, interactions, and the potential lethal combinations of medications and drugs are discussed.

Adult Life Skills

Many of our clients have had to fend for themselves without any direction. Others may have been “coddled” or enabled by significant others in their past. Still others just lack the daily life skills one needs to survive. This group begins to work on the “real” life areas the client will need, such as balancing check books, resume writing, and preparing to finish school.

Interpersonal Skill Building

This group enables our clients to begin to identify problems they may have within themselves. Many issues including personal relationships are discussed and addressed. Other peers may use personal experiences to help the client begin to deal with the client relationships with others.

Educational/Vocational Group

This group takes the information generated in our adult life skills group and puts it to use. Clients are introduced to educational institutes where they can obtain their GED or their higher educational goals. Clients are also evaluated on their strengths and weaknesses as it pertains to their choices for vocation.

Philosophy

Oasis Clinical Services Behavioral Health program was specifically designed to provide treatment to the multi-problematic individual, who suffers from various psychiatric disorders.

The population of this facility will consist of the severely mentally ill; the mentally ill with mal-adaptive behaviors; clients who are resistant to treatment, those who are non-compliant with medications; and those who experience repeated episodes of psychiatric crisis. These clients will require intensive and comprehensive treatment which will require innovative programming to meet and identify each patient / client needs and we at Oasis Clinical Services will provide that innovative programming.

Oasis Clinical Services will provide a complete array of services which will be vital in meeting the specific needs of the clients. As a mental health facility Oasis Clinical Services will provide the client with the opportunity not only to recover, but services which will increase the client’s capabilities to perform the various activities associated with daily living.

At Oasis Clinical Services Behavioral Health Care Facility clients receive a total and complete health care program. Clients will be able to recover mentally as well as physically. This total health care program will provide clients with mental health counseling and clients will receive assistance in identifying and utilizing support systems and community resources outside of the facility. Clients who participate in this program will be able to function at the highest level of independence that is possible for the client to achieve.
